Writer SCHOLARSHIP Program Sponsor

Telling our stories impact-fully requires writers with talent as well as training to ensure that our stories reach the broadest audiences and offer the  maximum value 

We designed a writers training just for that.

The NNP Writer program is a virtual program designed to help gifted writers an opportunity to learn, improve on specific journalistic and creative writing techniques to make their stories compete globally 

You may have a story to tell, but how you tell it can make all the difference

The program is geared toward talented  Nigerians who have a passion for writing but have not the opportunity to develop, hone their craft,  talk less of benefitting from it 

We are tapping into what we know is a large pool of creativity and aiming to give that an entry way on a global platform that will enable Nigerian stories to be an item of global conversation in collaboration with film industries seeking a unique perspective of African features

NNP has worked hard to place the cost of the 10-week training program within the reach of the average trainee; we achieved a barest minimum price of US$375 per trainee to cover the cost of the training and materials 60% less than the average costs of online training 

The current volatility and rate of exchange of the Nigerian Naira to the US dollar  eviscerates the ability of young, or even working Nigerians to afford it.

The Scholarship Sponsor program can bridge that gap 

NNP is seeking to secure 100 scholarship sponsors this year to support the enrollment of training participants from Nigeria.  

Each scholarship sponsors 4 individuals throughout the year. 

Each scholarship valued at $1500 will support training and materials for 4 participants in a particular fiscal year 

Sponsors can elect to sponsor additional participants in groups of 4.  

Once you make a decision to become a sponsor and indicate to below NNP will send you documentation formally establishing our partnership in the program and well as a payment 

Your scholarship can be given in the name of a corporation, or an individual who may be yourself, or a relative or personality whom you wish to honor and in whom you may wish
