Through the years the Nigerian narrative has trickled down paths etched with inconsistencies and contradictions to an audience that has become indifferent to the facts that abound in history about our culture, identity and experience.

The Nigerian Nostalgia Project thus arrived on the scene in 2010 to rekindle the renaissance in the thought process of Nigerians and give impetus to the yearnings of the aforementioned audience who yearn to shrug off their indifference to the absurdities of our collective realities (past and present). To do this they have to chart a new course for the nation and the black race. This new course requires both retrospective analysis of our stories and values and intellectual direction for new development policies.

Going forward NNP aspires to be a fountain of thought and ideas from which the canvas of Nigeria’s future can be painted by individuals and groups with a common ideal. This ideal is the amalgamation of our shared identity and experience for the actualization of the reality we yearn for.
